All the jewelry at Stone Horse Jewelry is intentionally handcrafted by me. All stones are natural unless otherwise indicated.
SIZING
Please do not guess your size when placing an order.
Re-sizing, if possible, will be an additional fee. Many pieces cannot be re-sized.
If you are unsure your size, please contact me before placing your order.

To determine your size, using a soft measuring tape, like one used in sewing, is best to eliminate gaps and overlaps.
Ring size: Measure your finger with a soft measuring tape close to the base of your finger making sure it will fit over your knuckle. Or go to a jewelry store and ask to be measured.
Multi-link bracelet: With your palm face up and your hand open, measure your wrist with a soft measuring tape just below the wrist bone. Add 1/2" inch for a snug fit, add 3/4 inch to 1 inch for a comfortable fit, and add an inch or more for a loose fit.

Bangles: Using a soft measuring tape, with your fingers together and your thumb folded over your palm toward your ring finger, wrap the tape around the widest point of your hand.

Cuff: With your palm face up and your hand open, measure your wrist with a soft measuring tape just below the wrist bone. The tape should be snug but not tight. A loose fit is your wrist size. A snug fit is 1/2 inch less than your wrist size.

JEWELRY CARE
Many stones such as Opal, Variscite, White Buffalo, and Turquoise are “soft” stones and can be damaged if handled roughly. Avoid dropping onto hard surfaces or wearing your jewelry while performing strenuous tasks.
To clean your jewelry, wash gently in warm, sudsy water, and dry well with a soft cloth.
Avoid commercial jewelry cleansers.
Take care when storing your jewelry so it does not get scratched by other items.
Silver, brass, and copper are all prone to tarnish over time. A polishing cloth can brighten your jewelry if you do not like the antiqued, tarnished look.
Chemicals like hairspray, perfume, deodorant, body lotion, and bleach will contribute to jewelry tarnishing and can harm stones.
When you remove your jewelry, clean each piece with a polishing cloth or dry soft cloth before storing.
Store your jewelry in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and moisture.
Storing your jewelry in individual, small zip-lock anti-tarnish bags or a zip lock bag with an anti-tarnish strip will help your jewelry from being exposed to conditions that speed up tarnishing.
Do not store jewelry unprotected in the bathroom or where it is exposed to humidity and moisture.
